ACube will act in the framework of Ambient Intelligence, by conceiving a highly-developed smart environment to be deployed in nursing homes as a support to medical and assistance staff.

This project in collaboration with the local ISP Alpikom SpA is about the realization of a prototype based on an audio/video platform to guarantee social assistance to remotely located elder or disabled people.

CREATE-NET was asked by Trentino Network, the public company responsible for the deployment of a broadband infrastructure in Trentino, to provide them with consulting services for the official Testing Phase during the roll-out of WiNET, a fixed broadband wireless network covering all remote areas of the province suffering a "Digital Divide" gap.

CREATE-NET has been asked by the local government (Provincia Autonoma di Trento), to provide them with consulting services for the transition from the analogous TV system toward the digital one (All Digital initiative).

The objective of the activity is the radioplanning design of both the access and backhaul networks in the areas underserved by the network currently in operation.
