R&D Labs
Research and Development (R&D) Labs are labs jointly developed with Universities and Research Centers, whose aim is to address key scientific challenges in a collaborative manner. Joint R&D Labs leverages on different collaboration mechanisms like visiting researchers, joint PhD or Master Programs, joint affiliations, etc.
Current Joint R&D Labs are:
- Queen’s University Belfast on topics related to network and information security supported by artificial intelligence
- KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm on topics related to attack detection in fiber-based telecommunication networks
- Politecnico di Torino on topics related to network monitoring and security by means of advanced linux kernel technologies
- University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour on topics related to LoRa technology for long-range Internet-of-Things
- Université Nice Sophia Antipolis on topics related to LoRaWAN technology, antennas and embedded solutions for IoT
- University of Antwerp on topics related to multi-RAT orchestration
- University of Catalunya on topics related to 5G network slicing
- University of Castilla La Mancha on topics related to multicasting, end-to-end active 5G network slicing, and 5G control plane
