CRISALIDE II

In Crisalide II, the objective is to experiment distributed energy production systems based on, among the others, the micro-CHP (Combined Heat & Power) technology. More precisely, the issues related to the interfacing between m-CHP nodes with the electrical distribution and the communication systems for the smart-grid control will be investigated.

To study the problem, the project forecast the development of numerical models simulating the m-CHPs behaviour and realizing a real smart-grid formed by some m-CHP installed over the territory.
