"Whiteboxing" and "P4", Marco Savi presenting at GéANT conference

At 2nd SIG-NGN Meeting (Géant) Marco Savi will give a presentation entitled “Sketch-based DDoS detection using P4 data plane programming”. The work is done in collaboration with Damu Ding and Domenico Siracusa (FBK CREATE-NET) and with Damian Parniewicz (Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center).

The presentation includes part of the ongoing activities within the new GÉANT GN4-3 project in the area of white boxing/P4 and will solicit inputs and feedbacks from the SIG-NGN community on use cases and services.

The objective is the proposed solutions to  become a technology that NRENs can rely on in their national networks in the future
