ABOUT FBK CREATE-NET

FBK CREATE-NET (Center of REsearch And Telecommunication Experimentations for NETworked communities) is an international research center recognized as one of Europe’s leading institutions in Internet engineering and telecommunications technologies. The Center was established in 2003 as a non-profit association with the support of the Autonomous Province of Trento. CREATE-NET association was merged with Bruno Kessler Foundation at the end of 2016 and it is now the third largest research center within FBK.

CREATE-NET unique research expertise is on 5G (and beyond) networks, fog/edge computing, Internet of Things platforms and on communication & network security. The Center aims at prototyping and developing the Next Generation Internet, an “Internet of humans” shaped as a powerful, open, data-driven, user-centric, interoperable platform ecosystem.
