Roberto Doriguzzi Corin and Roberto Riggio, senior researchers of the Future Networks (FuN) group at CREATE-NET, will participate in CNSM 2016 event in Montreal (Canada) which will be held from the 31st of October till the 4th of November.The Conference on Network and Service Management (CNSM), will cover all aspects of the management of networks and services, pervasive systems, enterprises, and cloud computing environments.Doriguzzi will present a paper on management of SDN-based networks titled "Reusability of Software-Defined Networking Applications: A Runtime, Multi-Controller Approach"


Marco Savi, postdoc researcher of the Future Networks (FuN) research unit at FBK CREATE-NET, has been awarded with the Best Paper Award at the 8th IFIP/IEEE International Workshop on Resilient Networks Design and Modeling (RNDM), held in Halmstad, Sweden, from 13th to 15th September 2016.

The event organised by EC will bring together the experts and coordinators of ongoing and new EC-PCP Projects to discuss best practices and challenges on Pre-Commercial Procurement at European level

Estefania Coronado (UCLM - Spain), guest researcher @FBK CREATE-NET presents  "Programming Abstractions for Wireless Multicasting in Software-Defined Enterprise WLANs". The paper (co-authored with FUN Unit) has been accepted at IFIP/IEEE International Symposium on Integrated Network ManagementLisbon // Portugal // 8-12 May 2017.  

The seminar will be held by Antonio Massaro about "Installing flow rules in SDN switches while avoiding signaling congestion"

Antonio Marsico, graduate researcher @FUN Unit @FBK CREATE-NET presents "An Effective Swapping Mechanism to Overcome the Memory Limitation of SDN Devices" . The paper, co-authored by Roberto Doriguzzi Corin and  Domenico Siracusa (FUN Unit @FBK CREATE-NET) has been accepted at IFIP/IEEE International Symposium on Integrated Network ManagementLisbon // Portugal // 8-12 May 2017

The "PhD Day: launch of FBK doctoral program" will be held on the 20th of February. The PhD program is carried out in collaboration with prestigious national and international affiliated universities. Over 90 PhD students are allocated to FBK's research units and are actively involved in international research projects and mobility programs.

On Friday May 5 2017 Francesco Profumo, President, and Andrea Simoni Secretary General of Fondazione Bruno Kessler, visited FBK CREATE-NET Research Center.

M'illumino di meno is a symbolic initiative aimed at raising awareness on energy saving launched in 2005 by the Cayerpillar show broadcast by Rai Radio 2.

As every year, FBK contributes with a series of initiatives aimed at saving energy.

Named after the famous verses of Morning by Giuseppe Ungaretti ("M'illumino | d'immenso", whose rough translation could be "I flood myself with the light of the immense"), it is organized arounf February 16, the day which marks the entry into force of the Kyoto protocol.

 On June 14th a joined ICT & CREATE-NET Centers DEMO day, open to all FBK Centers staff, will take place.​The Demos will be showcased  during the morning in the open space 1st floor, FBK north building.
